Strathpeffer Highland Cottages offer 3 detached cottages near the pretty Victorian village of Strathpeffer, about 20 miles from Inverness and at the gateway to the fabulous North West Highlands of Scotland.
All 3 cottages are situated in their own private garden areas with excellent facilities, if desired, for al fresco dining on warmer and longer summer days. Each cottage sleeps 4. Your pet dog is as welcome as you are and that’s very welcome indeed!

Lilac Cottage
A charming stone-built cottage in a quiet hamlet, 1 mile from Strathpeffer Spa Village. Deceptively spacious, Lilac Cottage offers up-to-date facilities with the accommodation all on one level apart from a small step up to the bathroom and kitchen.
There are 2 nicely presented bedrooms and a tasteful sitting room with welcoming wood-burner, making it a cosy place to relax at the end of your day. The well-equipped kitchen/diner opens out on to the pretty front garden, where you can sit and sip a quiet drink while dinner cooks.

Oil central heating with woodburner. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine in drying room, TV with Freeview, CD, iPod dock, WiFi, selection of books and games. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburner inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Ample off road parking. Enclosed front lawned garden with furniture. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Spruce Lodge
A cosy detached log cabin in a pretty, quiet woodland setting within easy walking distance of Strathpeffer Spa Village. One of 4 similar properties in the Blackmuir Woods, Spruce Lodge is spacious and bright with a sociable open-plan living area, comprising well-equipped kitchen, dining area and welcoming lounge with French doors opening on to a private balcony – ideal for summer al fresco dining.
There are 2 lovely bedrooms, a family bathroom and a convenient utility room for storing walking boots etc etc. Just step off the porch decking and you’re on one of the many local hiking trails. Spruce Lodge is just 20 metres from Rowan Lodge and together they sleep 8.

A cosy, yet spacious, detached log cabin in a pretty, quiet woodland setting on the outskirts of Strathpeffer Spa Village. One of 4 similar properties in the Blackmuir Woods, Rowan Lodge offers 2 neat and comfy bedrooms, a family bathroom and a bright and airy open-plan living area.
This features a well-equipped kitchen, dining area, comfortable settees and French doors to a large private balcony – perfect for a quiet read, glass of wine or al fresco meal. There’s also a utility room for your walking boots etc etc. Very handy because, just step outside the front door and you’re only metres from one of the many local hiking trails. Rowan Lodge is 20 metres from Spruce Lodge and together they sleep 8.

Strathpeffer offers so much:- miles of hiking and cycling trails; Britain’s oldest intact castle; weekly, free pipe band performances in the summer; the original Spa Pavilion and Pump House; 18 holes golf course; the former Victorian railway station with its Highland Museum of Childhood; and a decent choice of venues for dining, a lively village pub and several village shops. And that’s before you venture out into the surrounding countryside!
