General Information
Glasgow is located in the Highland region of Scotland, United Kingdom and is often more associated with its industrial past than for its new image of today. Being Scotland’s largest city, Glasgow offers a range of internationally-acclaimed museums and galleries, has a vibrant nightlife, great shopping facilities and beautiful architecture.

The Saltire Centre at Glasgow Caledonian University, is one of the busiest university libraries in the UK.
Once an industrial giant set on the banks of the expansive River Clyde, Glasgow has been transformed into a remarkable city today. With some of the best financed and imaginative museums and galleries in Britain Glasgow has achieved world-recognised success, and is well worth a visit.
